Introducing: Kams!!☆

Very pleased to have you here! I'm Kamil, based in Lithuania (EET timezone)I have an awfully hard time deciding my favourite things. There's so many that its never set in stone. For example: favourite characters, favourite candy.. when it comes to candy i like things that have a broad variety (same thing, different font type of deal)
So you can probably tell I'm a bit all over the place: in terms of my interests too. I am striving to better myself in many art fields. Digital art and cosplay are my main interests but I dabble into doll making, crafting, writing songs and works of fiction from time to time? Maybe?
I will try my best to answer anything you'd like to know in regards to my hobbies, be it an inquiry about technique, advice or just to chat about being an artist, it would be my pleasure~

What is your background?

I am a Multimedia Design graduate with a profile in video editing. In college, I have gained the knowledge of art fundamentals and worked with the Adobe package. During my academic years, I mainly worked on production of advertisements, video reports and music videos. I remember I had a lot of fun with on-screen character design! Now I am an aspiring artist by night after work hours, striving to improve, constantly driven by passion.

What do you use for digital drawing?

I own a DELL XPS15 and use a Huion Kamvas 16 Pro. I primarily create in Clip Studio Paint PRO. My canvas is usually 600 DPI; size depends on social media I post my stuff on. Later i take the files over to Photoshop and regulate contrasts, adjust hue to match it to the regular smartphone displays. For recording the process, I rely on built in Timelapse function of Clip Studio Paint!

Can I use your art/repost?

Using my art for icons makes me feel very honoured! I would like proper credit for them. Usage or editing of the original badge designs, as well as handmade pieces, is prohibited, sorry. You are very welcome to put your own visual spin on my original characters too, while keeping intellectual property in mind! I would like you to enjoy my art pieces from my primary social media, but TikTok showcases or anything of that sort is OK as long as I am credited. A gentle reminder to be kind to your beloved artists who work hard and ethically share their work provided that they allow it!

What do you create?

I primarily enjoy creating fan works. Portraits, dynamic and aesthetic compositions. I would like to share tutorials and speedpaints, too. I have two goals deep within my heart. No, scratch that, three. My biggest dream is to sell buttons and charms of my design as well as handmade accessories! On the same scale of importance is my aspiration to release a webtoon type of story that I am working on in the background and sometimes share glimpses of. Third.. is world peace for the viewer to feel happy and inspired when looking at my fruits of labour. It would mean the world to me if you would stick around this journey of mine!

What are your inspirations?

Usually, I come up with concepts right before falling asleep. Or while browsing artistic photographs or your everyday social media - cute things like apparel or accessories; I begin envisioning which characters would look good in them. I also really like old creative movie posters, they have great compositions. Sometimes good things come from accidents too! My art style is a mix and match of people who have inspired me to pursue digital art, I like analyzing and studying the aspects of art that surround me as well as my own works.
